The first step on your therapy journey is reaching out to schedule an initial consultation. I offer a free, 15–30 minute consultation via phone or video call. This call provides a safe and confidential space for you to share a bit about your current challenges and what you hope to achieve through therapy. It’s also an opportunity for you to determine if we feel like the right fit to work together.
During this conversation, I’ll explain how I work as an integrative therapist and how this approach could support your journey. I’ll also answer any questions you may have about my approach, the structure of therapy, or anything else that matters to you. We can discuss practical details such as fees, payment methods, and whether you may require any adjustments or accommodations to make the process more comfortable.
This consultation is about creating clarity, trust, and understanding. If we agree to proceed, and you feel ready, we can schedule our first session and begin the journey of healing and growth together.
Our first session will focus on creating a warm, safe, and supportive space where you feel at ease as we begin our work together. Building on our initial consultation, this session will give us the opportunity to explore more about you and what has brought you to therapy. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your story—this will always be done with curiosity, compassion, and at your own pace.
I will gather some key information to ensure accurate records and provide the best possible care as we move forward. During this session, we will also review important aspects such as confidentiality, safeguarding protocols, and reporting obligations to ensure transparency and help you feel secure and informed as we begin our journey together. My aim is to create a space built on trust and support, and for you to leave the first session feeling confident in the choice to move forward on your therapy journey.
Future sessions will be guided by what you choose to bring and the goals you want to work on. However, if I notice something that feels important or if I sense that certain areas are being avoided, I may gently revisit these topics to ensure that we are addressing what will be most helpful to you.
